One fine morning I woke up in my apartment and looked out of the balcony and behold.. I was mesmerized by the morning sky.

Sunrises, sunsets and sky colours have fascinated me. It was only recently that I have found time to look at the sky and appreciate the colours. When young, did not have time to appreciate these. On mornings with clear Skys, the pre-dawn images are wonderful. On cloudy mornings, the wait for a wonderfully painted sky takes more days, but the wait is rewarding as I have found out recently.

Sharing some of the images I have captured over last few months here and will continue to do so in future on this page.

Stayed at Mayura Pinetop at Nandi hills. Wanted to capture sunset and sunrise. Was able to capture the sunset, was not so lucky with sunrise. The sky was heavily clouded.

Sunrise captured at Paro, Bhutan from the Resort. Reminded me of the drawing that every school going child draws… the sun rising from behind the mountains, the house, river flowing in the front, Trees…

Sunrise @ Rameswaram, Kanyakumari, Feb 23

The Kanyakumari sunrise can easily be identified by the Vivekananda Memorial. Notice the moon in image 3 of the gallery. Very satisfying after failures to capture sunrise across the sea, due to heavily clouded sky at Puducherry and Mahabalipuram.

Clear sky made is Kanyakumari image wonderful, the clouded sky at Rameswaram made a good image too.
